Community Pantry

Did you know 25% of children in families at risk of hunger may be forced to rely exclusively on hunger relief programs to make ends meet?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, 13 million children (1 in 6 every kids in America), may not know where they will get their next meal. Feeding America reported that 84% of households resort to buying the cheapest food to provide enough to eat.

Accessing healthy food is a challenge for many families in low-income neighborhoods. To support them, we believe there is value in food programs that focus on community-linked intervention to encourage behavior change and connect at-risk neighbors to local resources, especially those with diet-related, chronic diseases.
